About Yarrow Method
Yarrow Method exists because too many women reach perimenopause with no map, no framework, and a healthcare system that has very little time to give them one.
WHO THIS IS FOR
You may still have your period, or you may not. You may have been told your labs are normal while feeling anything but. You have likely spent time wondering if what you're experiencing is perimenopause, or anxiety, or burnout, or just getting older — because nobody has given you a clear answer either way.
You are smart, resourceful, and frustrated. You have done the research. You have tried things. You want someone who actually understands what's happening hormonally to explain it clearly, give you a real framework, and tell you what to do about it — without the guesswork, the overwhelm, or the $500 consultation fee.
That is what Yarrow Method is here for.
THE APPROACH
Yarrow Method is built on three foundations:
Nutrition first. Your hormones are synthesized from what you eat. Estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone are steroid hormones built from cholesterol. Your neurotransmitters are built from amino acids found in protein. Your cortisol rhythm depends on magnesium, B vitamins, and consistent blood sugar — all of which come from food. Nutrition is not an afterthought in hormonal health. It is the foundation everything else is built on.
Herbal medicine as a serious tool. Western herbalism has a deep, evidence-rooted tradition of supporting women through hormonal transitions. Plants like ashwagandha, motherwort, vitex, passionflower, nettle, and yarrow itself have been used by generations of herbalists for exactly what you're experiencing — not as a trend, but as a practice. Yarrow Method treats herbal medicine with the rigor and specificity it deserves.
Reliable, affordable education. The information that helps women navigate perimenopause and postmenopause confidently should not cost thousands of dollars for an appointment, program, or require a functional medicine practice that takes no insurance. Yarrow Method exists to make credentialed, evidence-informed hormone education accessible to every woman who needs it.
THE NAME: Yarrow Method
There is a plant that has grown wild across meadows, roadsides, and hillsides for thousands of years. Its feathery leaves are unmistakable. Its flat-topped clusters of tiny white flowers bloom from midsummer through fall. Healers across cultures — from ancient Greece to indigenous North America to medieval Europe — carried it into battle, pressed it into wounds, and passed down its name with reverence.
Yarrow. Achillea millefolium.
Legend holds that Achilles used yarrow on the battlefield to stop the bleeding of his soldiers' wounds. Its common names tell the same story: woundwort, soldier's woundwort, staunchweed, herba militaris. The leaves contain compounds — achilletin among them — that actively promote blood clotting and have been used for millennia to stop hemorrhage, reduce inflammation, and begin the process of healing.
But yarrow is more than a wound herb. It is a bitter tonic that supports liver function and hormone clearance. A nervine that calms tension and irritability. A uterine tonic used by generations of herbalists for irregular, heavy, or painful cycles. A plant that appears across the full arc of women's reproductive lives — from menarche through menopause — steady, reliable, and present wherever it's needed.
That is what this practice is named for.

A NOTE ON WHAT THIS IS NOT
Yarrow Method is not a medical practice. The guides, protocols, and educational content here reflect the training of a certified hormone health coach, nutrition coach, herbalist, and community health worker — not a licensed physician. Nothing here constitutes medical advice or replaces the care of your healthcare provider.
What it is: the clearest, most credentialed, most affordable hormone education you'll find outside of a clinical setting. Built for the woman who is done being dismissed and ready for real answers.
You have been navigating this largely alone. Most women do.
Yarrow Method exists to change that — one clear explanation, one reliable protocol, one honest answer at a time.
Welcome.
